Transact Law, P.C. specializes in commercial real estate. It is not a law firm that claims it can do all things for all people, but rather it concentrates only on projects involving commercial real estate. Accordingly, clients receive the benefit of a high level of expertise in commercial real estate law. In the event a client requires a different expertise, he or she will be referred to one of the firm's many colleagues who practice in other areas of law, such as business litigation, estate and trust planning, and creditors' rights. In addition, Mr. Michelsen works with consultants in other professions, such as accountants, appraisers, and insurance agents. Such matters often relate to a real estate project that the firm is familiar with; thus the firm routinely works with outside counsel and/or other consultants to represent a client.
